LDC & Swim School is hosting a staff event on Memorial Day! And yes, this event requires bathing suits as we learn all things Stand Up Paddle (SUP).

About the event
Let's blow off some steam and learn all things Stand Up Paddle! Each staff member is Captain of their own paddleboard and provided guided instruction from a Certified PaddleFitPro instructor! We will cover:
Launching and landing, forward A power stroke, several turn strokes, stopping, getting on and off the board
What to Bring: Beach chair, towel, paddleboard clothes, i.e. bathing suit, anything that can get wet that is not cotton, cotton dries slow and adds more weight, any/all types of sun protection; suntan lotion, sunglasses, water bottle, snack, hat.
Directions:
Drive to First Landing State Park, 2500 Shore Drive, enter the Bay entrance, if coming from Great Neck, take a left into the park, if coming from the ocean front, take a right into park, park fees apply, take a left and drive past the parking lots and the main building all the way back to the bay entrance behind…
